Marriage counselor Dr. Taylor (Dee Williams) is surprised when her client Sam (Oliver Davis) shows up for his latest appointment without his wife. Sam explains that his wife was in a terrible accident and is now in the hospital on life support. He acts distraught, saying that he feels lonely and touch-starved. Dr. Taylor, taken aback by the news, offers her support and comfort.
